Lummus Park

was one of Miami's first green spaces. It opened in 1909
and was added to the US National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

In 1925, the only remaining structure of Fort Dallas (considered the birth place of the City of Miami) and the Wagner Homestead (the oldest standing house in Miami) were relocated to Lummus Park in an effort to preserve them.
