Scandinavia 2017 - Bags ready!

Yes! Finally! my long-dreamed trip to Scandinavia is happening!

We have taken advantage of the outrageously low prices Norwegian Airlines is offering for direct flights between Fort Lauderdale (Florida) and some Scandinavian cities.

Since Norwegian is a low-cost airline, we purchased each leg of the trip separately, instead of round trip, and that way we we'll be able to make better use of our time, by arriving in Oslo and returning from Copenhagen. We will also use Norwegian to fly from Oslo to Stockholm and from Stockholm to Copenhagen. Leaving from FLL on a Friday and returning on a Sunday, total of flights: 4. Total price: $456 per person for all 4 flights.

We will spread 9 days/8 nights around Oslo, Stockholm and Copenhagen and stay in Airbnb locations since prices and locations are much more reasonable than hotel's. Total Airbnb price: $523, 2 people, 8 nights.

Weather will be on the "fresh" side :) so we're taking our jackets and some warm clothing. With proper folding and pressing techniques, our bags have remained small enough for carry-on only.

This is what I'll be wearing on the plane:
Jacket, light cardigan, sports top, yoga pants and sneakers (not pictured)

And this is the rest of my clothing:
2 yoga pants, 3 warm sweaters, 5 long-sleeved t-shirts and underwear (not pictured)

Folded and pressed everything looks like this:

Now, taking into account that Norwegian only allows 1 piece of carry-on luggage for free, we had to get creative with our packing. We kept our duffel bags loosely packed so they fit the measuring box and placed my trusty backpack inside one of the bags, to be used once we land. This is how our bags look!

Viking ancestors, here we go!
