The beach is divided into three sections

1) North Beach

- Plenty of parking

- Bathrooms

- Showers

- Food sold

Three artificial sand barriers hold the sand in for half the beach. 

Beyond the third barrier, the sand dune gets thinner and thinner and sometime disappears under the mangroves. Near the third barrier there is a lagoon.

2) Oasis Beach (Closed for renovations as of April 2021)

3) South Beach

- Plenty of parking

- Bathrooms

- Showers

- Food sold

- Beach chairs and umbrellas for rent

- Kayaks and paddle boards for rent

The facilities are best here. A café sells fast food, beachwear and souvenirs. There is a beach chair/umbrella, kayak and paddle board renting service near the first (southern) beach access. The beach is better here; the farther you go from from this beach access the thinner the sand gets, until it turns into a rocky beach where shoes are a must.

 The ruins of an old pier mark a division of sorts for the beach near the first (southern) beach access.

 No pets are allowed in the section nearest the beach access; however on the other side of the pier ruins the beach is pet friendly. The farther you walk from the beach access the wider the sand dune gets, until you reach the southern tip of the island. 

A narrow canal divides the beach from the northern tip of Caladesi island. Swimming across de canal is not allowed due  to heavy boat traffic and strong currents.

The island is accessed by a parkway. There is parking on the southern side of the road and the cars are allowed to go down on the sand.
