Anguilla 2024

is famous for its beautiful beaches. It has been said that there are 33 beaches in this island. 

Below the ones we visited on this trip:

(1) Sherrick Bay
Access: Dirt road in pretty bad shape. No facilities.

(2) Shoal Bay West
Easy access, public parking to the left between 
Trattoria Tramonto and Blue Waters Beach Apartments

(3) Maunday's Bay
Access via Cap Juluca Hotel. 
Bar/Grill: The Cap Shack

(4) Cove Bay
Easy access. Parking behind Smokey's, now abandoned. No facilities.

(5) Rendezvous Bay 💗
Easy access. Parking available at the Sunshine Shack.
2 beach chairs, 1 beach table and 1 beach umbrella complimentary with lunch. Otherwise, $20

(6) Blowing Point
This is where the Ferry Terminal is located. 

(7) Little Harbour
Rocky coastline. No facilities.

(8) Forest Bay
Swampy beach with lots of seaweed. There is a wharf and an abandoned hotel.

(9) Sandy Hill
Rocky coastline. No facilities. Access through private property.

(10) Junk's Hole
Access via a dirt road in very poor shape. Swampy beach with lots of seaweed
Parking next to Palm Grove BBQ Grill

(11) Shoal Bay East 💗
Easy access, paved parking next to The Menoah Hotel. 
Walk thru The Madeariman Beach Bar & Restaurant (excellent) to reach the beach.

(12) Crocus Bay
Easy access, paved parking. Restaurant: Da Vida

(13) Sandy Ground
Easy access, parking behind Elvis Beach Bar. Lot's of maritime traffic. 

(14) Mead's Bay💗
Easy access, several spots to choose from. 
We stayed at Funzone (next business after Blanchard's). 
2 beach chairs, 1 beach table and 1 beach umbrella $10

(15) Barnes' Bay
Easy access. Parking next to Mango's Restaurant
You can also walk to the right once you get down to the beach and go to 
The Half Shell Beach Bar (Four Seasons Hotel)

There are any other beaches in Anguilla worth visiting, but since we rented a compact vehicle we were unable to reach them due to the poor condition of the dirt roads. A 4x4 is required.  
Also we tried contacting the Anguilla Heritage to know more about the island and its history, as they offer tours and information, but it was closed every time we tried it.
